The third edition of the Dosti Peshawar Literature Festival, held in February 2024 under the theme “Glocalization: Connecting Communities”

(پرورش لوح و قلم), was a monumental celebration of literature, culture, and diversity. Over 11 remarkable days at the New Academic Block, University of Peshawar, the festival brought together more than 100,000+ visitors, showcasing the profound connection between local traditions and global perspectives. This edition reached new heights by launching regional chapters in Karak and Mardan, amplifying its impact and inclusivity. A three-day Children’s Literature Festival inspired young minds with engaging activities, while immersive language courses in Pashto and Arabic bridged linguistic and cultural gaps. By fostering dialogue, creativity, and cultural exchange, the festival cemented its role as a cornerstone of intellectual and communal growth.
